A Perfect 10 Year Anniversary: 19th Hole Concerts Raise $10,000 for Archuleta Nonprofits

Sunny evenings, local tunes, and community generosity have allowed the 19th Hole Concerts to raise $10,000 for four Archuleta County nonprofits.

This year’s grant recipients include Archuleta Seniors Inc., Build Pagosa, Project Sanctuary, and the San Juan Headwaters Forest Health Partnership. The proceeds are split evenly, granting each nonprofit $2,500.

With ideal weather for all four concerts in June at the Pagosa Springs Golf Club, the events brought in $9,370 through ticket and merchandise sales. To bring the total to an even $10,000, the Archuleta Committee donated an additional $630 from their remaining budget. With this year’s contributions, the 19th Hole Concerts have now raised a total of $85,000 over the past decade.

“This milestone year was a reminder of how powerful consistent community support can be,” said Susan Buchner, Chair of the Archuleta Committee for the Community Foundation. “We’re so grateful to everyone who showed up, and for the many concertgoers who continue to help us fundraise year after year.”

The 19th Hole Concerts feature local music talent and a different nonprofit each week. Admission is just $10, and every dollar collected goes directly into the grant pool.

Corporate sponsors cover event expenses, ensuring that proceeds benefit the selected nonprofits entirely. This year’s sponsors include Bank of Colorado, Inter-Mountain Propane, Jann C. Pitcher Realty, Pagosa Springs Golf Club, Pagosa Springs Sun Newspaper.
