Five Nonprofits Selected to Benefit from 19th Hole Concerts
April 3, 2023 – Pagosa Springs, CO – The Community Foundation serving Southwest Colorado has selected the local nonprofits that will benefit from this summer’s 19th Hole Concerts at the Pagosa Springs Golf Club. The five Archuleta County nonprofit grant recipients are: Aspen House & Aspen Services, Humane Society of Pagosa Springs, Pagosa Springs Instrumental Music Society, Upper San Juan Search & Rescue, and Veterans Memorial Park.
The 19th Hole Concerts are community fundraisers that feature local musicians and local nonprofits each Thursday evening in June, 5:30-7:30 PM, at the Pagosa Springs Golf Club. The cover charge is a $10 donation that supports the five nonprofits. Corporate sponsors cover event expenses, allowing all proceeds at the end of the series to be pooled and distributed equally to the featured organizations. The collaborative approach to the concerts is vital to their success. The goal for the events is to raise more than $2,000 for each nonprofit.
“The 19th Hole Concerts are some of my favorite community events that we organize at the Community Foundation,” says Joseph Kuzma, Community Outreach Manager for the Foundation. “Impactful fundraising, great music, and fabulous mountain views – it’s a great way to spend a summer evening!”
