From Vision to Action – Briggen’s Impact

As we close out our 25 Stories for 25 Years series, it feels only fitting to end with the leader who has played a central role in shaping the Community Foundation into what it is today.

Executive Director, Briggen Wrinkle, joined the Foundation 13 years ago, stepping into a role that would ultimately transform the organization and the region it serves. During her tenure, the Foundation has grown exponentially in assets, in grantmaking, and in possibility.

Her creativity, deep community knowledge, and unwavering dedication have helped strengthen nonprofits, help local governments, and inspire donors to invest in the future of Southwest Colorado.

Through natural disasters, economic uncertainty, and extraordinary moments of need, Briggen has guided the Foundation with clarity, courage, and heart. Her leadership is more than influential, it’s foundational.

We are endlessly grateful for Briggen’s commitment, her vision, and the bright path she continues to build for our communities. We look forward to the next 25 years in service to the communities of Southwest Colorado.
