In 2024, Jeff Dupont became the CEO of the Durango Chamber of Commerce after 16 years at Fort Lewis College. It was a decision he didn’t take lightly and one he made with the trusted advice of longtime colleagues and friends.
One of those confidants was Briggen Wrinkle, whom he met in the Leadership La Plata class of 2013. Since Leadership La Plata is run through the Durango Chamber, their conversation brought that journey full circle. She assured him he would be a great fit—which means a lot coming from Briggen– making it easier for Jeff to transition from a long-loved career into an entirely new one.
