LEAVING A LASTING LEGACY IN SW COLORADO

For almost 25 years, the Community Foundation has been helping individuals, families, and businesses across Southwest Colorado support the causes they care about most.

Gifts made during your lifetime are just the beginning.

  • How do you want to make a difference?
  • What are you most passionate about in our community?
  • What does lasting impact look like for you?

We can help you find clarity around these questions. By making your planned charitable gift through the Community Foundation serving Southwest Colorado, your legacy gift will live on to maximize the full potential of our region’s nonprofits long after your lifetime.

Each of us leaves behind a legacy, a reflection of our values, convictions, and actions that extends far beyond our own existence, reaching into the lives of our loved ones and those we have influenced. This legacy holds the power to inspire and guide future generations, particularly when supported by sustainable resources facilitated through thoughtful planning. You have the opportunity to craft a lasting impact on Southwest Colorado by considering a planned gift through the Community Foundation.

There are many ways to create a lasting legacy through estate planning: gifts in your will, retirement plan assets, life insurance policies, trusts, or personal and business properties.

There are also many fund vehicles at the Community Foundation to direct your gifts: general operations support, scholarship funds, funds designated toward specific charities or sectors, funds supporting certain geographic areas, and many more.

Please tell us using this confidential form if you have already named the Community Foundation in your estate plan or if you’d like to meet with our staff to customize legacy gift options for you.
