All water stop sponsorship funds will be donated directly to the Durango Marathon charity partner, The Community Foundation Serving Southwest Colorado. This is your opportunity to directly impact the runners, walkers and community through your active participation in the marathon. There is no other sponsorship opportunity like it. We encourage each water stop sponsor to personalize their water stop with banners and decorations—make this welcome oasis as fun as possible for the runners and walkers; play music, dress in costumes, take turns calling out runners/walkers names as they approach the water station. They will love you for all of your hard work and will tell you so. This may become one of your most rewarding experiences.
