The owners of Primus Restaurant partner with the Community Foundation to administer their corporate giving program. The online application for donations and grants for the first half of 2020 is now closed. Grants for the second half of 2020 are currently on hold in wake of the COVID-19 public health crisis. The program will resume once the restaurant business is running a full capacity again.
Nonprofit organizations have the opportunity to apply for a $100 gift certificate to the restaurant and/or a $500 monthly giving partnership.
The gift certificate must be used to support the mission of the organization. The monthly giving partnerships require a 4-week commitment to promote Primus, by showing gratitude through the nonprofit’s marketing channels (social media/press releases/email marketing).
In order to apply, organizations must be a nonprofit, tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization, or be a project or organization under the fiscal agency of a 501(c)(3) organization. Organizations must serve La Plata County.

- May – Durango Education Foundation (delayed)
- June – Boys & Girls Club of La Plata County (delayed)
