Community Impact

Gather with like-minded changemakers to enrich nonprofits – and yourself.

From a speaker series to Durango’s largest wine tasting, the Community Foundation is proud to partner with community members to ignite action for the greater good. These events and special programs not only help fund our work with nonprofits, but also create awesome memories that inspire us to dream bigger and better together.

The Community Foundation offers a new scholarship opportunity for low-income, first-generation college students called the MOLAS scholarship. We also facilitate scholarships for other organizations.

The Community Foundation’s Making a Difference Speaker Series is designed to inspire conversation, prompt action, and bring a new perspective. We look for speakers who propel philanthropy – an idea, event, or action that is done to better humanity. Stay tuned to learn who we will join us in the fall of 2023.
