Rachel Kuss CFP® AIF® CRPS® is a financial advisor who has lived and worked in Durango since 2006. Rachel got her start at a private trust company in 1998, and joined Dean Witter in 2000 as a licensed member of a large wealth management team in Austin, Texas. Rachel joined a wealth management team at UBS Financial Services of Durango in 2006, where she worked until leaving for the world of independent wealth management in 2015. Rachel has a particular passion for financial education, and has taught with “Know Your Dough” classes at Escalante Middle School. She enjoys setting up and advising retirement plans for local businesses in order to give members of the community the resources and planning they need to retire on their own terms.

Rachel is married to Tim Kuss, who coaches ski racing and takes care of snow making and grooming at Chapman Hill. Her daughter Victoria plays lacrosse for Fort Lewis, and their son Bodhi is an all-round athlete who is looking forward to starting Miller Middle school this fall.

Trent Porter was born and raised in SW Colorado and lives in Durango with his wife and two boys. His strong roots in the community and passion for giving back and helping others do the same, makes the Community Foundation a Perfect fit. His other passions include spending time with his family, vinyl records, hiking 14'ers and playing the guitar.

Drea Pressley is a Certified Financial Planner™ and Chartered SRI Counselor™ with Edward Jones Investments. She lives in Durango with her husband and son and loves spending time in nature: hiking, skiing, and cycling. Drea is also a professional musician and is an active member of the classical music scene in Durango. She is passionate about sustainable investing and in 2019 became one of the first advisors in the United States to earn the Chartered SRI Counselor™ certification. She strives each day to provide an ideal client experience with a personal approach. Drea's purpose is to empower and guide others to make intentional financial choices that align with their values, allowing them to live more authentically and with deeper purpose.

Charles Spence is a partner in the law firm of Maynes, Bradford, Shipps & Sheftel, LLP. He practices in the areas of estate planning, estate and trust administration, and estate and trust litigation. Mr. Spence also advises businesses in the formation and startup phase, general operation matters, employee compensation planning, mergers and acquisitions, and business succession planning. He is certified as an Estate Planning Law Specialist (EPLS) by the Estate Law Specialist Board, Inc., an ABA accredited, attorney-run subsidiary of the National Association of Estate Planners and Councils. He holds an AV® Preeminent™ Rating from Martindale-Hubbell (AV® Preeminent™ Rating is the highest rating available). Mr. Spence has also received a Martindale-Hubbell Client Champion award of “Platinum” based on client review ratings (“Platinum” is the highest client rating available). He currently serves on the Legal Regulation Committee with the Colorado Supreme Court’s Office of Attorney Regulation, and he also serves as a trustee on the Colorado Bar Foundation.
Denise has been practicing law for over 30 years, most of those years serving Durango and surrounding communities. Her practice is a general practice with a focus on trusts, wills, estate planning, trust and estate administration, probate, real property, business and contracts. Denise assists families in creating an estate plan suitable for their particular situations, while providing peace of mind to families through the provision of trusted guidance during the estate administration process following a loved one’s passing.

Fredrick has been a CPA in Durango for more than 40 years and is the Managing Owner of FredrickZink and Associates, PC. Professionally he has served in leadership roles as a National Council Member for the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, served as President of the Colorado Society of CPAs and Chair of the Four Corners Chapter of CPAs. In our community he has served on the Boards of the City of Durango Financial Advisory and Budget Review Committee, as well as the City’s Retirement Board, the Volunteers of America Southwest Safehouse and Homeless Shelter, Trout Unlimited, Durango Youth Soccer Association, Durango Independent Film Festival, Homebuilders Association of Southwest Colorado, the Durango Wine Experience, and was a Charter Board Member of the Community Foundation Serving Southwest Colorado. Chuck is an avid reader as well as a musician, playing saxophone with the Southwest Civic Winds, as well as several small jazz and blues groups. He also loves to play golf and fly fish.
