We are thrilled to announce Nicholas Kristof, columnist for the New York Times, two time Pulitizer Prize winner and humanitarian, will be the first speaker in our new “Making a Difference” event series. He is confirmed to speak on Wednesday, October 4th at 7 pm at the Community Concert Hall. The following morning he will be a guest at an intimate breakfast at the Strater Hotel attended by sponsors and donors.
The Community Foundation launches Making a Difference Speaker Series featuring Nicholas Kristof, a New York Times Columnist and Pulitzer Prize winner to talk about making a difference one person at a time. Kristof is syndicated in the Durango Herald and his New York Times Best Seller, A Path Appears, aims to reconnect us through the myriad opportunities to make a difference provided by the new wave of social enterprise.
