Our popular summer concert series is now in its sixth year, and we are going virtual!
Our Community Concerts in the Secret Garden is designed to benefit the nonprofit community and promote Durango’s talented music scene by featuring a different nonprofit and music talent on Wednesday evenings in the Rochester’s Secret Garden throughout the summer. We will miss those festive gatherings this year!
Since we didn’t want this great grant opportunity to be diminished during the current restrictions of our public health crisis, we are taking the concerts to the airwaves, broadcasting on the radio, featuring local bands and nonprofit highlights.
The 10 selected nonprofits invited to benefit this year represent an array of La Plata County’s amazing arts and culture organizations. We hope to raise $50,000 in support of these organizations through our online fundraiser, so that the arts can help us heal.
