This total reflects a combination of grants, capacity building, and professional development opportunities provided to nonprofits across Southwest Colorado. All of which help to cultivate a stronger nonprofit sector that is poised to meet the needs of our community.
Giving totals were as follows:
- $3,944,436 was facilitated through Community Foundation projects and programmatic granting.
- $1,259,053 was granted from the Community Foundation donor-advised funds (DAFs).

The Community Foundation serving Southwest Colorado manages over $13 million in investments and is home to almost 80 donor advised funds, agency funds, designated funds, scholarship funds, fiscal sponsorships, and field of interest funds which support nonprofits in Archuleta, Dolores, La Plata, Montezuma, and San Jan counties.
